Automated Control Systems - Manufacturers of continuous product

Automated Control Systems started business in December 1982 as ACS
Engineering with three employees. The original charter, which continues
to be the same today, was to design and build automated manufacturing
equipment and systems.
ACS was incorporated in August 1983 and began leasing a 5,600 square
foot facility east of New Haven, Indiana. This facility consisted of
two buildings, a manufacturing building with 2,700 square feet, and an
engineering building with 2,900 square feet, housing approximately
thirty employees.
By October 1988 ACS had outgrown that facility and moved into New Haven
occupying a 15,000 square foot facility, with a capacity of
approximately forty-five to fifty employees. By 1998 more workspace was
needed, adding 3250 square feet to the building.
ACS offers a wide variety of products, from our Coilers/Decoilers, and
Test Equipment to specially designed machines for our customers. The
main industries using our Coilers/Decoilers are Metal Stamping and
Rubber Extrusion. The customer base for test equipment is primarily
major automotive suppliers. We have also built machines for the Casting
Industry (piston manufacturers). ACS products can be found in France,
Germany, China, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Singapore and all over the
United States.

from simple. Using proprietary motion algorithms, motor motion is
smooth and efficient. All Simple Step™ products allow a minimum of both
