The Euclid Garment Manufacturing Company,
based in Kent, Ohio, has

Euclid introduced its first Electromagnetic Energy protective garment,
KV-GARD®, in 1975. KV-GARD is used worldwide as a means to enable what

power lines.

phase of product development and production is done in-plant and is
closely monitored by our quality control staff.
Each step of the way, production meets Euclid’s strict standards: from
the blending of Nomex® with stainless steel and spinning it into yarn,
to weaving it into fabric, and sewing it to produce the finest
conductive garments in the world.
In 1997, Euclid joined forces with
Maxwell RF Radiation Safety, Ltd, a
company that was established independently in 1992 for the sole
purpose of developing and marketing RF protective clothing products in
the United States.
Maxwell worked through RF consultants,
Government research labs, and
the FCC and OSHA in order to enable these agencies to recognize RF
protective clothing as a viable means of RF Hazard mitigation.
