Crystal Window & Door Systems, Ltd., is an award winning manufacturer of a
full product line of quality, energy efficient vinyl and aluminum windows &

achieving sales of over $42 million in 2002. Crystal currently operates out
of two facilities in Flushing, Queens, containing an aggregate of 215,000
square feet and employing almost 300 employees. A new 165,000 square foot

Crystal utilizes state-of-the-art manufacturing throughout its assembly
plants. The company for vinyl window production, features complete
integration from extrusion through fabrication. Crystal has six extruders
which manufacture quality vinyl profiles and PVC accessories for Crystal’s
finished products. Crystal is proud to be one of the few licensed users of
PPG “Intercept” insulated glass technology. Other highlights of Crystal’s
manufacturing include computerized glass cutting machinery, four-point vinyl
welding machinery and bending equipment for both vinyl and aluminum to
produce architectural shapes. Crystal’s extrusion and window assembly
processes are AAMA and ISO quality certified.
Crystal is a supporter of several local community and charitable
organizations. Thomas Chen, Crystal’s president, serves on the Board of
Directors of the Queensborough Community College Fund, the Jamaica Business
Resource Center, and the Asian American Business Development Center. Crystal
is also active in the following organizations: Queens Chamber of Commerce,
Queens Child Guidance Center, Queens Botanical Gardens, Flushing Chinese
Business Association, Taiwanese Business Association and many others. The
Crystal Foundation (the company’s non-profit philantrophic affiliate
organizations) promotes the arts to the local Queens, NY community and
operates a unique 2,200ft² semi-public art gallery specializing in Asian Art
